Kaylyn Groves, Managing Editor, Web Content, is responsible for ensuring that content on the ARL Web site is current, clear, accurate, and aligned with ARL’s strategic objectives. Kaylyn also provides general editorial guidance for the Association, especially in her role as Assistant Editor of the E-News for ARL Directors and the ARL Bimonthly Report. She coordinates and distributes press releases for ARL. And she occasionally writes articles for the ARL Bimonthly Report, such as “Diversity in the US ARL Library Workforce,” from issue no. 246 ( June 2006).
This is Kaylyn’s second tenure at ARL. After serving as the ARL Statistics & Measurement Research Assistant in 1994-95, she held library positions at the National Gallery of Art, the University of Virginia, and the University of Oregon before returning to ARL in 1999. Kaylyn’s professional library experience was largely in creating Web sites to disseminate images to art & architectural history students.
Kaylyn earned a BA in economics and quantitative analysis from Colby College in 1991 and an MS in library and information science from the Catholic University of America in 1996.
